How we use your data

We use the data we collect to primarily organize and personalize insights for you, the workers, so that you can better manage your personal business and understand the job marketplace in your city.

Periodically, we will anonymize and aggregate market level data to produce insights that we share publicly via user reports, blog posts and with media outlets. These are shared and available to you as a Solo user to better manage your independent work.

We may also work with third parties who are attempting to understand more about the gig economy or the job platforms in the space. These insights are strictly contained to market level insights and will never include personally identifiable information nor be traceable back to any individual user.

What data we collect

When you use the Solo app, we collect information about you as an independent worker, such as:

• Basic worker profile information like your contact information and which services you drive for
• Earnings data from accounts that you have linked to Solo or that you have entered manually
• Expense data from any business related expenses you log within the Solo app
• Location data from using the built-in mileage tracker
